My readers tell me i'm smart. They read my fics, my fanfics, and they say i have a way with words. Some of them said i'm the brightest writer they've met, and i modestly reply that i've seen greater writers than me, and they're only 9. Some of the people i know told me that i should be in Mass Comm instead of HLM...i just smile and nod, because it's way too much work to deny it. My pet fish looks at me like i'm insane.....

....i think he's the only one who knows what's REALLY going on.

It's so strange how the mind works - or, at least, how my mind works. I remember the stupidest, most pointless things - and they take up so much space! I can't remember my best friends' birthdays, and it's no wonder, what with all the room in my brain taken up by memories of the giant rabbit exhibition i went during my kindergarden days, and fond reminiscences of my favourite foods in primary school, and wondering if Amazon is any better than E-bay, and thinking that it would make so much more sense if the moon simply rotated a little way away from the Earth, so that it wouldn't have to hurry so much to get all the way around Earth...

I've filled my mind up with so many pointless thoughts and memories that I've got no room for the stuff that really matters: like how to find sines and cosines, and what substances I can use to make fire burn from water, and the precise history of the Singapore - because those are the things that are going to help a fantasy writer.

Talking about writing (WAS I TALKING ABOUT WRITING? No? Maybe i should...) i find such an irritant when Writer's Block comes to visit. It screws everything up. Even a simple piece of writing....say...what this entry was actually supposed to be about.

Is that the bell? Man, i should be getting back to class...the keyboard in the library's getting so comfortable that i've lost track of time.
