Sometimes I try really hard to get the words on the page, it almost hurts my mind to be exercised so furiously. I guess the purpose of writing is to make it work, not make it
feel like work. No sense in pushing against a brick wall, right?
But sometimes I
like the work even though I
hate the result. The pain behind the strain can be so beautiful it's almost all magic and peter pan, how good it feels. And I'd never, ever throw it out. How many can truly say they write for pleasure and admit that pleasure is agony; that they don't stop until they feel it consuming them like a ferocious, man-eating pen and that it can only produce maybe one profound thing a year?
But what does it really matter as long as there's ink still fresh on the page, smelling clean, mechanic, and intoxicating? Large doses could only result in a certain breakthrough or dramatic death.
I aim for either. And please, take note that i'm sleepy.
This is the effect, i suppose, of not blogging for so long. Ayul claimed i still have loyal readers, but i think he's just delusional. Sheesh. So for all you albeit, boring people out there. Here's an update of my life.
SCHOOL. I'm repeating two modules. But thank God i don't have to go through the whole ordeal all over again. Im gonna dread those two modules for sure, but i'm certainly gonna try having as much fun as i could. I aim to get my diploma, or die trying. You'll see. =)
WORK. People come and go. But i dun understand. I love them all. But there's always conflicts, fights, hatred...and everything else. It's just painful. Im still loving it though. Whatever happens.
Well, on a completely different note, Hady won. Thanks to Singapore and other crazy Hady-natics like me who voted more than twenty times. No thanks to the judges who seem to favour Jon more. Atleast Sly was an Ah Beng. Ah Beng is better than Ah Pek. And that's what Jon is. Hidop mati melayu. Wa caya sama lu ah Hady. Make us proud like Fik did.
And yes, "Right Here Waiting" is a beautiful song. I'm proud to see local music coming out of their hard-knocked shell. I pray for Sleeq to go far. And about a moment ago, i heard Didi Cazly's "Dambaan". Since then, it has been on replay for the last three hours. See? Singaporeans. Anak melayu. Alhamdullilah for these local talents.
I love my boyfriend for everything he's done for me. Nothing could change that. iLu. =)
Ramadhan is here. One of the beautiful months of Islam. Setan is in lock-up. =D ALLAH HU AKHBAR.
